Ravilious and Wedgwood

The Complete Wedgwood Designs of Eric Ravilious (1903-1942).

This excellent book starts with ‘Eric Ravilious, a Memoir’. It is then nicely illustrated with pictures of the watercolour and pencil sketches that Ravilious produced for the crafts people at Wedgwood to transfer onto the wonderful range of ceramics they produced in the 1930s.

These distinct mugs, plates, cups, teapots, jugs and more that Wedgwood produced from his designs are now much sought after by collectors. This book is the definitive book for anyone interested in this unique period of English design.

Published by Richard Dennis, Somerset, England in 1986. This book is in excellent condition with very slight bumping on the spine. Inside pages are clean and bright.
