‘The Leopard’ has gathered increasing critical acclaim since its first publication. In 2012 ‘The Leopard’ was named by ‘The Observer’ as one of the ten best historical novels of all time.

‘The Leopard’ was made into a movie by Visconti’ in 1963 starring Burt Lancaster, Alain Delon and Claudia Cardinale. It won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

The book is in good condition. The inside pages are clean. There is some small marking on the foredge. The colourful dustwrapper is designed by Hans Tisdall. The dustwrapper is bright and in very good condition. Its edges are slightly scuffed. The spine has slightly darkened with very slight fading at the top.
