The Smiths, Billie Whitelaw, Vinyl, 12 inch, 45 rpm single

This rare 1984 vinyl single from The Smiths has a cover showing Billie Whitelaw in the movie ‘Charlie Bubbles’.

The design collaboration between Morrissey, the British designer Caryn Gough and Jo Slee produced a range of distinctive album sleeves for The Smiths that are highly collectable.

This is a classic vinyl cover from The Smiths. The record is in excellent almost un-played condition. Morrissey has added an interesting touch with inscriptions on the vinyl. On side one it says ‘ THE IMPOTENCE OF ERNEST’. On side two it says ‘ROMANTIC and Square is hip and aware’.

Songs on this vinyl are:

  • William it was really nothing
  • How soon is now?
  • Please, please, please let me get what I want.
