This is a lovely copy of Longfellow’s famous lyric poem The Song of Hiawatha. Published in America in 1907 it is beautifully illustrated throughout by Harrison Fisher, also with decorations by E Stetson Crawford.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) was an American poet and educator. This book is beautifully produced, nicely typeset and printed on good quality paper. It is a hardback with a gold foil embossed and decorated cover and spine. Illustrated throughout in colour and black and white.
Published by The Bobbs-Merrill Company, Indianapolis, USA in 1907. This book is in excellent condition. The endpapers have foxed slightly but the inside pages are clean and bright. One of the inside pages has come away slightly from the binding at the top.
