The dust jacket, illustrated by Elmer Hader, is in good condition with some slight marks and a protective cover.

Published by The Viking Press, New York, 1961. First edition book club edition. Hardcover in excellent condition. When the dust jacket is removed the boards are covered in pale blue cloth with nice lettering on the spine.

Excellent typography on the title page. The book is well designed and printed. The inside pages are on deckled-edge paper and are clean and bright.

A lovely copy for any admirer of John Steinbeck’s work.
