Walt Whitman a Study and a Selection was published by Grant Richards Ltd. London. It was printed at the Curwen Press and was limited to 750 copies for sale in Great Britain.

This book is in excellent condition. A hardback book with a superb patterned Japan paper cover boards with gilt type on a black linen spine. Printed on mould-made paper with rough-cut deckled edges. There is slight age-staining on the inside covers by offsetting from the dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is missing but seems to be no loss as it was a dull wrapper that did not match the beauty of the Japan paper covered boards. The inside pages are clean and bright and very nicely typeset.

For any lover of Walt Whitman’s work Walt Whitman a Study and a Selection is a beautiful and scarce book, in very good condition and a delight to hold.
