Illustrated Bible Geography and Atlas
This book of illustrated bible geography was published in the late 1930s. It is an historical atlas of the Holy Land and Palestine with some fascinating maps. The maps include the Journeyings of the Children of Israel, The Dominions of David and Solomon, ancient and modern Jerusalem, The Sea of Galilee, The Journeys of St Paul and more.
The introduction gives a history of the region by John R Crossland, the Geography section, written by the explorer Major C R Condor, is very detailed, covering all the main areas, including the Divisions of the Holy Land.
This is a fascinating book with some wonderful black and white photographs. These pictures would have been taken in the early 1930s and show the Home of Sampson, a view of Hebron, Jerusalem, Nazareth, Bethlehem and much more.
