Save Boston’s Old Corner Bookstore

A petition has been announced to Save Boston’s Old Corner Bookstore.

The Old Corner Bookstore is the oldest commercial building in Boston. It was built in 1718 as an apothecary shop. The Old Corner Bookstore was the center of book publishing in America in the mid-1800s. In those days Boston was the country’s literary centre. Many of America’s leading authors and poets visited the building, including Louisa May Alcott, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Edgar Allan Poe and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

This wonderful bookstore is a great place to visit.
