The Goldmaker’s House is a lovely children’s story about the town of Tulavall on the coast of Finland. It is beautifully illustrated by the English illustrator Ionicus (Joshua Charles Armitage, 1913–1998). His wonderful line drawings enhance this story by the prize-winning Irmelin Sandman Lilius, one of the leading children’s books authors and illustrators in Scandinavia.
This is a hardback book with a lovely illustrated dustwrapper. There is some creasing on a few pages but the pages are clean and bright. There is a name inscription on the flyleaf.
